This policy explains how the Harrigan Home app uses cookies and on-device storage, and how you can control them.

How we use cookies and storage

The Harrigan Home app uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries. Most are essential to sign you in and run the app as a progressive web app. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not run tracking analytics unless and until you agree to them.

Essential cookies

These are required for the app to work and cannot be turned off from within the app.

  • Authentication. Supabase sets secure session cookies that keep you signed in and let the app verify your requests. Without them you cannot use your account.

On-device storage

The app stores a few values in your browser's local storage on your device, rather than sending them to a server as cookies:

  • Consent choice. Your response to the consent bar is saved under the key hh-consent-v1 so we remember it and do not ask again on every visit.
  • App and offline data. As a progressive web app, Harrigan Home uses a service worker and on-device caches to load faster and work offline, and it may remember lightweight preferences such as onboarding progress.

Analytics

No analytics or tracking cookies are active in the app at this time. If we add analytics in future, it will be consent-gated: it will run only after you accept it through the consent bar, and you will be able to change your choice.

Third-party storage

Some essential storage is set by the services that run the app, such as Supabase for authentication. These are used to deliver the app to you, not to track you across other websites.

Managing your choices

  • Use the consent bar to accept or reject non-essential storage. Your choice is remembered on this device.
  • Clear the app's stored data from your browser or device settings at any time. Clearing essential cookies will sign you out.
  • Use your browser's controls to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will stop the app from working.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves, for example if we introduce analytics. When we make material changes, we will update the date above.
